I’ve figured out how to make my bed look expensive and chic for FREE

A WOMAN claims she's found the free secret to making your bed look luxurious and expensive, and it's all about the pillow placement.

Shannon explained that her boyfriend hates extra pillows on the bed, but she still couldn't work out why her bed looked so "flopped" compared to the ones she had been admiring on Pinterest.

"I can't make mine look like that," she said in a video on TikTok.

"I tried fluffing up the pillows and pillows and everything.

"And then I saw the actual way they were placing the duvet and throw and decided to try it in the morning.

"Let me show you a before first of all, of what my bed was like yesterday.

"Like it's fine but it just doesn't have that fluffy, luxurious feel. It is cheap bedding - I'm not going to buy expensive bedding and I'm not going to buy more pillows - so I'm literally working with the same things I had yesterday.

"But I do think it looks significantly better."

Shannon then showed what her bed looked like yesterday, and then what it looks like today after she used the hack.

She went on to explain that while she'd always been told to put the pillows facing up on the bed, she'd stood them up on the thinner edge instead.

She'd also folded the top of the duvet down, and brought the throw up higher on the bed - leaving some of the duvet showing at the foot end of the bed.

"How much better does that look?" she said.

"It looks so much more luxurious and expensive. All I've done is literally move the way the pillows are set!

"And I'm like wow, why did I not do this sooner? This looks so much better."

"It's giving hotel bed vibes," Shannon added in her caption.

"Yessss, completely get it! Others always look so fluffy. I’m doing this now," one person commented on the video.

To which Shannon replied: "I’m so pleased and didn’t take any longer than making my bed normally!"

"Just done this - oh the simple things. Looks fab. Thank you," another added.

"Far better honey ! … looks more expensive xx" a third agreed.

"Karate chop your cushions to give it a boujee feel," someone else suggested.

With Shannon replying: "I do this too!"
